arcenciel is a Lebanese non-profit-making, non-political, non-confessional organization, founded on November 21st, 1985, and recognized of public utility on November 18th, 1995 by presidential decree no 7541.

arcenciel’s mission is to participate in the sustainable development of the society by supporting vulnerable groups and the integration of marginalized people.

arcenciel is active through more than ten centers all over Lebanon and through seven programs: agriculture, employment, environment, health, rehabilitation, social and youth.

arcenciel runs 3 youth hostels and is the vice-president of the Lebanese Youth Hostels Federation (LYHF) and a member of Hostelling International. It aims to promote responsible tourism through the hostels' activities, encourage sustainable development and protect the cultural and natural heritage of Lebanon.
